Is a number fungal diseases affecting the leaves, twigs and branches of some species of tree, such as; London plane, poplar and willow.
Irregular raised ‘corky’ lesions occur on the young stems, twigs may be killed, and cankers may develop on larger shoots and branches. Leaves may develop patches of dead tissue and affected leaves frequently fall prematurely, leading to a sparse crown. Severely affected trees usually recover to produce new growth but the overall vigour of the tree can be reduced, and branch growth may become distorted if there is regular dieback.
Now you know what the problem is, and the damage it is doing, don't let your plant suffer.
