Woodlice

Description

Woodlice are also known as pillbugs, growing up to 1cm long and are usually grey in colour, with the body made of many small segments and will often roll up into a small ball if they are disturbed.

Symptoms

Woodlice feed on soft plant tissues, often making small holes in young leaves and ripening soft fruits, as well as biting through the stems of small seedlings. These creatures are night feeders they prefer damp, dark places and more commonly feed on partly decayed plant material.
