Wisteria 'Amethyst Falls' is less vigourous than the Chinese or Japanese wisterias. It only grows to about 5m in height and 3m wide, ideal for the modern garden. It can be grown in the ground or in a container and is hardy down to minus 15c. If it is grown in a container it may need to have the roots protected from frost during a hard winter.
