Last year's new Nerine bulbs grew well, but no flowers - why?


Our Advice:

The most common reason for these bulbs to grow, but not flower, is planting them too deeply. Ideally the 'nose' or tip of the bulb should be just below soil level. Replant them a little higher and feed with tomato fertiliser as you water them back in. That should help them set flower buds for future years.
