Bosch Rotak 34R Electric Lawnmower
However, some users have expressed disappointment with the construction quality of the lawnmower. In particular, the grass box is considered to be flimsy and difficult to detach and reattach. Additionally, users have found the instructions to be poor, making assembly a challenging task.
What Owners Think
The construction quality is pretty poor compared to my previous Bosch mower . Its apparently made in China but no doubt to approved Bosch specifications . The assembly is not entirely straightforward and could be greatly improved by better instructions. The grass box is particularly flimsy and difficult to detach and reattach . As already stated my previous Bosch was much more robust and of a better design . Why was it changed . All in all I wouldnt buy it again . Boschs reputations is on the wane with this item.
I had a Flymo electric mower before and this is just about better in every way. Firstly, the mower feels well made. Secondly, the mower does not require multiple passes over the same area to ensure an even and complete mow. Thirdly, despite the moderate output - it seems quite powerful. Then, the Grass collector is large and can accommodate a fair amount before needing to be emptied. Lastly, it cuts consequentially better around the edges. The only thing that isn't as good is the length of the Power cord. At 10 metres it is JUST too short to reach the edge of my current lawn without the need for an extension cord. However, this is a small issue considering all the pros. Really good value for money
Poor instructions and a cow to assemble. The grass box seems flimsy. Not the quality i expect from Bosch. But cut the grass ok.
