Greenworks G24PS20 Cordless long reach Pole Saw
The Greenworks G24PS20 Cordless Long Reach Pole Saw has received mixed reviews from users. On the positive side, it is simple to assemblejust add a little oil for chain lubrication, plug in the battery, and it's ready to work. It efficiently handles branches, significantly reducing the time needed for yard work. The device is sturdy and comes with a three-year warranty, and given that other Greenworks devices have proven durable over the years, its expected this saw will be equally reliable.

However, some users have noted that the saw struggles with thicker trunks, particularly peach tree and hawthorn trunks of just two to three inches in diameter, and the blade tends to flatten quickly. Additionally, while robustly made and effective, it can be heavy when fully extended, requiring a stronger operator to manage it. Some also mentioned that the manual isnt very clear about setting the chain tension, necessitating help from experienced users.

Overall, the Greenworks G24PS20 is praised for its ease of use, sturdy construction, and effectiveness in trimming branches, though it may not be ideal for thicker trunks and can be challenging to handle when extended.

What Owners Think

Simple to put together, add a little oil as lubrication for the chain, plug in the battery and get to work It made short work of the branches and job actually took less time than I though it would. Device itself is sturdy and has a 3 year warranty. My other Greenworks devices are still going strong after a number of years so expect this to be as well built. Overall I'm very happy with it, does the job and saves me time.

I was hoping to add a really useful tool to my equipment. Despite my best efforts the saw struggled with peach tree and hawthorn trunks of just two and three inches. The blade also flattened rather soon as well. A pity.

Robustly made and effective performance but needs a sizeable operator to handle the extended weight. Had to get guidance from experienced user to set chain tension as manual does not make it clear where the screw is. Overall pleased with purchase - reasonable price.
