Mr Fothergill’s Seeds have once again raised money for BBC Children in Need by taking part in their very own Pudsey Bear Pong Challenge. All departments were represented and as ever, competition was friendly, if a little fierce at times...!

Funds raised from the event were added to the sales of Sunflower Pudsey and Pumpkin Pudsey seeds as well as the NEW Pudsey Wildlife Flower Mix, with 30p from the sale of each packet going to BBC Children in Need to help make a difference to young lives.

Speaking of the fundraising challenge, Ian Cross, Mr Fothergill’s Head of Marketing, said: “The team have had great fun competing against each other at The Pudsey Bear Pong Challenge and enjoyed raising money for such an important charity.”

“We are delighted with how generous our customers have been over the last year, purchasing our Pudsey packets to support BBC Children in Need, and as a result, since the start of our partnership, we have been able to pledge over £50,000 to the charity.”

Claire Hoyle, Director of Income, Marketing and Communications at BBC Children in Need said: “We are absolutely delighted to have had support from the team at Mr Fothergill’s and their generous customers, all funds raised will support the wellbeing and development of children and young people across the nation, so a huge thank you to everyone that donated and helped to raise funds.”

Sunflower Pudsey and Pumpkin Pudsey (RRP £2.49) and the new Pudsey Wildlife Attracting Flower Mix (RRP £2.99) are available from selected garden retailers.

BBC Children in Need’s ambition is to create lasting, positive change across the UK for the children and young people who need it most. For more information on how to support BBC Children in Need please visit: bbcchildreninneed.co.uk
