How do I plant tulips in a rock garden?

Our Advice:

To plant tulips in a rock garden, choose a well-draining location with full sun exposure. Make sure the soil is well-draining and amend it with sand or grit if necessary. Plant the bulbs with the pointed end facing up, cover with soil, and press down gently. Water thoroughly and avoid overwatering.
