Regular deadheading, or removing spent blooms, will encourage your sweet peas to produce more flowers. It's also important to keep the plants well-fed and watered, and to provide support for climbing varieties. Pinching out the growing tips of young sweet pea plants can also encourage them to produce more blooms.
