How can I get yellow rattle seed to germinate?

Our Advice:

This plant is a partial parasite used to slow down the growth of grasses and help wildflower meadows establish. Yellow rattle can be slow to establish and the seed must be sown in the autumn as it needs a period of chilling to get it to germinate the following spring.
