How can I stop slugs and snails eating my potted bulbs?

💡 Our Advice
After planting the bulbs, cover the surface of the compost with a layer of sharp grit or Slug Gone pellets. This should act as a barrier, preventing slugs or snails reaching the bulbs as they emerge, as they find it difficult to cross.
