What can I use to clean the water in my water butts?

Our Advice:

The existing water in your water butts should be fine to use, if you treat the water with Refresh from Biotal, which is not harmful to plants and should clear the water. It is worth emptying the butts once a year and washing them out with a weak solution of Jeyes Fluid.
