How can I stop the beetles eating my water lilies?

💡 Our Advice
These water lily beetles can make a real mess of lily pads when they chew holes in the leaves. Their no chemical control for this pest, the easiest way to deal with them is to weight the lily pad with a small stone so that it is just below water level. These beetles float on the surface of the water and are eaten by fish and other pond life.
