What is making holes in the leaves of my cherry and plum trees?

Our Advice:

This is shot hole, a bacterial disease that is much worse in wet weather. Prune out dead or dying branches then spray with either Bordeaux mixture from Vitax or Fruit and Vegetable Disease Control from Bayer. Spray before leaf fall and again in the spring after flowering.
