Why are my viburnum leaves covered in black spots?

💡 Our Advice
Black spots on viburnum leaves are often a sign of a fungal disease, such as leaf spot or anthracnose. These diseases can be caused by various fungi that thrive in wet and humid conditions. To prevent the spread of the disease, remove and destroy infected leaves and avoid overhead watering. A fungicide may also be necessary if the problem persists.
