How do I help heavy branches on my plum tree that have cracked?

💡 Our Advice
If you can, prop up the branches with stout stakes and paint the wounds with Arbrex Heal and Seal from Bayer or Medo from Vitax. After you pick the fruit remove any badly damaged branches. Trim bad rips or tears in the bark and treat with the wound paint.
