I potted up some Nerines months ago but they are not growing, why?

Our Advice:

You have planted your Nerine bulbs too deeply, with the 'nose' of the bulb barely visible. They will need to be re-planted, but with the top half of the bulb visible above the compost. These plants prefer a sheltered, warm, sunny position with a free-draining soil or compost.
