When is the best time to prune my Osteospermum plants?

Our Advice:

Although these plants usually only need to have the dead flowers removed, they can become straggly and thrashed by the winter weather. Wait until mid-march for the milder weather before trimming away any dead or damaged leaves and old flower stalks which remain. As the new growth starts feed the plant with a general fertiliser.
