Can I plant tulips in pots?

Our Advice:

Yes, tulips can be planted in pots as long as the container is at least 12 inches deep and has drainage holes. Use a well-draining potting mix and plant the bulbs with the pointed end facing up, covering them with soil and pressing down gently. Place the pot in a sunny location and water regularly.
