How can I get rid of small black flies in my bulb pots?

💡 Our Advice
These flies or fungus gnats are often found in compost that has been stored outdoors in wet conditions, or in very wet, poorly-drained compost. You can control this pest by treating the compost surface with PY Insecticide dust from Vitax. Or you can use chemical free sticky Neudorff'>Plant Flycatchers from Neudorff inserted into the pots.
