How do I treat rust on hollyhocks?

Our Advice:

Hollyhocks are notorious for rust. Sprays of Fungus Clear Ultra from Scott's or Fungus Fighter from Bayer will help to control it, but you will need to keep spraying regularly. Try to begin early, before the fungus establishes, as most fungicides work better as a protective covering on leaves before the plants are attacked.
