Sweet peas can be grown from seed or from seedlings. If starting from seed, plant them in a pot or tray filled with compost in the autumn or early spring. Sow the seeds about 1 inch deep and water them regularly. Once the seedlings have grown to about 2 inches tall, they can be transplanted outdoors.
