Chrysanthemum rust is a fungal disease that can cause orange or brown spots on the leaves of the plant. To prevent chrysanthemum rust, choose disease-resistant cultivars and plant them in well-draining soil with good air circulation. Avoid overhead watering and remove any affected leaves or flowers immediately. If your plant becomes infected, you can use a fungicide such as myclobutanil or triadimefon to control the disease. It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for application rates and timing.
