Chrysanthemums should be fertilised regularly throughout the growing season to promote healthy growth and blooms. Use a balanced fertiliser with a ratio such as 10-10-10 or 20-20-20, applying according to the manufacturer's instructions. It's important not to over-fertilise, as this can result in excessive foliage growth at the expense of flowers. Alternatively, you can use a slow-release fertiliser applied once or twice per season for convenience.
