Is it better to keep my Cycad in a pot or plant it in the ground?

Our Advice:

I would keep your Cycad in a pot; they are very slow growers and if the weather gets very cold you could move the plant to a more sheltered position. It could well be a good idea to protect the crown of the plant with some garden fleece if a sharp frost is forecast.
