What are the swollen hard white lumps on my azalea plants?

💡 Our Advice
This is Azalea gall fungus. Pick off the swollen growths and burn them, as these contain the fungal spores that spread the infection to nearby plants. Spray the plants with Fruit and Vegetable Disease Control from Bayer. Several applications may be needed.
