What are the green swollen lumps on my azalea plants?

💡 Our Advice
This is fungus called Azalea gall. You can pick off the swollen growths and burn them before the swellings turn white, as these contain the fungal spores which can spread the infection to nearby plants. Avoid watering the plants from the top and spray them with Copper Mixture from Vitax. Several applications may be needed.
