What can I use to control woolly aphids on a Cotoneaster bush?

Our Advice:

This aphid protects itself with fine white strands of wax, like cotton wool. Spray during dry, calm weather with Bug Clear Ultra from Scott's, which works best when the plant is actively growing and the average temperature is above 6c. It may take several applications to eradicate the pest completely.
