What is the best way to control chickweed in the garden?

Our Advice:

Seeds of this weed will germinate when they are exposed to daylight. Where you can, apply a mulch up to 10 cm (4 in) thick around established plants. Sprays of 24/7 Superfast Weedkiller from Doff or Resolva 24H from Westland will quickly burn off the foliage of the chickweed without disturbing the soil.
