Do red spider mites survive the winter on plants in the conservatory?

Yes, almost certainly they will and they are probably active already. For small plants, they can be taken outdoors and sprayed with SB Plant Invigourator or Neudorff'>Pyrol Bug & Larvae Killer from Neudorff at 5 day intervals. For larger plants which are difficult to move use a biological control such as Red Spider Mite predator by mail order from Defenders.
