How can I control a Fairy ring spreading across my lawn?
Our Advice
There are no chemicals to deal with this fungus. One way to help check the progress of this problem is to spike the lawn to 20-30cm deep. Apply a solution of washing up liquid in lukewarm water (15ml in 10 litres per square metre). This will act as a wetting agent so that water can penetrate the infected areas, and deter the fungus.
