Home > Question >

My camellia has split stems from the heavy snow, will it survive?

Our Advice:

The plant should survive, but some of the growth on the split stems might die back. The severity of the damage depends on how frozen the exposed wood became. Even if sections of the plant die and have to be removed, the plant should grow again from the base.
