What can I use to control Berberis sawfly?
Our Advice
The caterpillars of Berberis sawfly can completely strip the leaves from a plant in a very short time. There are usually two generations of this pest each year, in May and September. Use sprays of Provanto Ultimate Bug Killer from Bayer or Resolva Bug Killer from Westland. This pest will also attack Mahonia and Nandina.
