What can I use this year to control Berberis sawfly?
Our Advice
Berberis sawfly can completely strip the leaves from a plant in a very short time. There are usually two generations of this pest each year, one in May and another in September. Use sprays of Bug Clear Ultra from Scott's or Resolva Bug Killer from Westland. This pest will also attack Mahonia and Nandina plants.
