What is causing the dark green patch on the leaves of my apple trees?

💡 Our Advice
This is apple scab, which was very bad last year as it prefers damp conditions. Treat with either Systhane Fungus Fighter from Bayer or Bordeaux Mixture from Vitax. Remove any infected fruit, spray the soil around the base of the tree and rake up all fallen leaves and fruit.
