Can I grow new apple trees from pips?

💡 Our Advice
Any apple tree grown from a pip is a random seedling and even two plants grown from the seeds out of the same apple can have very different characteristics. While this may result in a fantastic new variety, it can also produce far more trees that will never perform well. These seedlings often take 7-10 years before they produce fruit.
