Why are there white, sticky spots on my moth orchid?
Our Advice
Either mealy bugs or scale insects, which will get worse if you leave it. Treat the plant with Bug Clear Ultra (Scott's) or Provanto Ultimate Bug Killer (Bayer). Both are systemic insecticides which circulate through the plant, killing the insects as they feed on the sap.
