What plants would be suitable for growing on a very steep bank?

Our Advice:

Many plants will grow well on a steep slope once they have established, but ideally, low maintenance plants and those with spreading roots, suckers or runners are preferred to provide some stability and combat erosion, try; Hypericum calycinum, Pachysandra, Persicaria affinis, Rosa rugosa, Sassa vietchii or Salvia officinalis.
