When is the best time to hard-prune a Griselinia hedge?

Our Advice:

Hard pruning should be done mid to late spring. Cut out damaged or diseased growth first. Feed with a general fertiliser such as Growmore or pelleted chicken manure after pruning. Trim the new shoots in mid-summer to encourage strong, bushy growth.
