How can I kill bindweed growing through a hedge?

Our Advice:

Push growing tips of shoots into a clear polythene bag, add a small amount of Superfast, Long Lasting Weedkiller from Neudorff and tie the bag. The leaves carry on growing and take up the chemical, killing the weed as it reaches the roots.
