When is the best time to prune a hardy hibiscus?

💡 Our Advice
Hibiscus do not need regular pruning but if the shape needs correcting then late spring is the best time. Hibiscus plants have a brittle root system and can tip over if they get too tall or are being grown on an exposed site.
