When is the best time to prune a hardy Hibiscus?

💡 Our Advice
These shrubs do not need routine pruning. If any pruning is required it involves removing any dead, dying, damaged and diseased wood. Cutting back any congested or crossing shoots, any branches that are growing in unwanted directions can also be pruned out. The best time to do this is in late-winter or early-spring.
