When should I prune a mimosa bush?

Our Advice:

Start by pruning out any frost-damaged shoots when the new growth starts next spring. The best time to prune Acacia dealbata is immediately after flowering. Remove the dead flowers, plus about 10 cm (4 in) to keep the plant compact and producing lots of new branches.
