When should I lift and store dahlia tubers?

💡 Our Advice
Wait until frost has blackened the leaves and stems. Once this growth has started to dry carefully dig up the tubers, cut the stems down to 15cm (6ins) and leave the tubers to dry. Shake off any soil and store the tubers in a dry frost-free place.
