Violas prefer consistently moist but well-drained soil, and they may struggle during periods of drought. If the soil is too dry, the roots will not be able to absorb enough water, and the plant may wilt or even die. To prevent this, make sure to water your violas regularly and deeply, especially during hot and dry weather.
