Why are the leaves on my aspidistra turning brown?

Our Advice:

Commonly known as the cast-iron plant for its tolerance of poor treatment, neglect, deep shade, long spells without water and hardly any feeding but it dies if over watered. Remove the brown leaves and only water the plant once a week.
