Why are there brown spots on the leaves of my Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise)?

Brown spots on the leaves of a Strelitzia are usually caused by fungal or bacterial infections, insect infestations, or sunburn. If the plant is infected, remove the affected leaves and treat with a fungicide or insecticide. If the plant is suffering from sunburn, move it to a shadier location.
