Why is my lemon tree shedding its leaves?

Our Advice:

To grow well, citrus plants need plenty of good quality sunlight. In the short days of winter, they will often shed leaves, especially in dull weather, and then start to produce new leaves as the days get longer and brighter. Avoid overwatering the plant and resume feeding as the new growth appears.
