How can I get rid of small black flies in my house plants?

💡 Our Advice
These flies are often found in compost that has been overwatered, or in very wet, poorly-drained compost. You can control them for up to 3 months by inserting cardboard 'insecticide pins' of Bug Clear Ultra for Pots from Scott's into the compost.
