This plant (Schefflera arboricola) can be propagated by taking 10-15 cm long semi-ripe cuttings taken from this season's growth, ideally in late-summer or early-autumn. Dip the bottom of the hormone rooting powder or gel, and insert the cuttings into containers filled with peat-based compost mixed with 50% sharp sand or Perlite.
